AGC EN-A1 Alkali-Free Boro-Aluminosilicate Glass
Abrisa Technologies offers Asahi Glass Corporation (AGC) EN-A 1 material, a highly transmissive, alkali-free thin boro-aluminosilicate glass that is ideal for highly sensitive bio-photo detection applications, high throughput sensor applications and as enhancement glass for thin displays and cover glass for micro arrays. Its coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) of 38 x 10-7 is well matched to silicon, making it an ideal and economical choice for use as a glass polishing substrate for the thinning process (back grinding) of semiconductor chips supporting low profile electronic device manufacture.
Corning Eagle XG® Borosilicate LCD Glass
Corning® Eagle XG® is a borosilicate glass specifically designed for high performance LCD’s. It is considered environmentally friendly as it contains no heavy metals (arsenic, antimony, barium, or halides). The glass also features high surface quality, excellent thermal properties, low density, and high resistance to chemicals.
SCHOTT AS 87 eco Ultra-Thin Aluminosilicate Glass
SCHOTT AS 87 eco is an ultra-thin aluminosilicate glass with extremely high levels of bending and impact strength and superior scratch resistance. It is an excellent choice for use as cover or enhancement glass on low profile displays, touch sensors and other applications where thickness and weight are a concern. Abrisa Technologies also provides the material with optional HIE™ chemical strengthening for even higher levels of Knoop and Vicker’s hardness, perfect for applications with high contact and frequent handling. SCHOTT D 263® T eco Ultra-Thin Glass
SCHOTT D263® T eco is a clear, lightweight, low fluorescence, borosilicate glass available from Abrisa Technologies in thicknesses from 0.07 mm to 1.1 mm with excellent luminous transmission and high chemical resistance. The glass is made with the SCHOTT® specific down-draw method, which results in the excellent surface finish and surface roughness typically < 1nm RMS range. Abrisa Technologies specializes in thin glass fabrication and optical coating as well as oleo/hydrophobic solutions, screen printing, laser marking and other value added services.
SCHOTT BOROFLOAT® 33 Borosilicate Float Glass
BOROFLOAT® 33 is a UV-NIR transparent borosilicate float glass with excellent optical properties and smooth low scatter surfaces straight off the float process. It is an economical high performance material, making it ideal for the volume manufacture of windows, mirrors, filters, display glass, 3D build platforms, and other components. BOROFLOAT® 33’s composition lends itself to outstanding thermal resistance and sharp impact crack resistance, making it an excellent choice for challenging use environments.
