Anti-Reflective (AR) Coatings
AR coatings are all dielectric single or multi-layers, designed to minimize losses & reduce ghost imaging caused by surface reflections in the UV, visible, near & far IR. They can be designed for laser lines or broadband use & range of angles.
Anti-Reflective (AR) Coatings
These coatings are all dielectric, single or multi-layers, and are designed for low reflectance and high transmittance in the UV, visible, and near IR spectral bands. AR coatings meet the requirements of MIL-C-675C, MIL-C-14806A, and MIL-C-48497A. AR Coatings are often crucial components in optical systems with multiple lenses or other optics where the maximum possible light energy is needed. AR coatings help to produce brighter images while reducing the intensity of ghost images which may otherwise be produced in optical systems having multiple reflecting surfaces.
Damage Resistant Non-Glare Coatings
Abrisa Technologies’ PRO-NG™ 120, High-Ion Exchange (HIE™) non-glare aluminosilicate provides 120 gloss level glare reduction in an extra-thin, lightweight format with up to 6x the strength of standard soda lime float. This new HIE™ strengthened non-glare material is Ideal for installed or portable displays with large viewing angles and/or in need of bright/sunlight readability where thinner profile, lightweight, and enhanced durability is key. PRO-NG™ 120 is ideal for ruggedized or high-contact displays used in cockpit, cabin, portable field instruments, signature pads, and industrial equipment control panels where both management of glare and high clarity, low haze viewing of the display is key.
Sensor & Scanner Coatings
Optical and image sensor use is on the rise with growing applications in industrial 3D metrology, machine vision, automotive obstacle avoidance, security and surveillance, document and 3D scanning, gesture recognition and other digital imaging applications. Abrisa Technologies’ rare combination of performance coating design and volume glass fabrication offers the OEM an opportunity for a Total Solution for their sensor and scanning windows; an excellent balance of optical coating performance and economies of scale. Abrisa Technologies now offers a selection of coated solutions for both laser line and broad spectral ranges from the visible to SWIR, with large angle-of-incidence accommodation and high throughput. Spectrally selective coatings for use outdoors or with discreet diode emitters are also available.
Infrared (IR) Coatings
Typically used with infra-red cameras, scopes, and night vision goggles for surveillance, these filters enable infrared energy to be emitted from a variety of light sources while blocking visible energy, avoiding detection by the unaided eye.
